We are not the WIC program
WIC Compass is an independent private website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the USDA, the WIC program, or any state or local government agency. We cannot check your eligibility, enroll you, schedule appointments, or make decisions about benefits. For those, contact your state WIC agency or a WIC clinic directly.
Information only, not advice
Everything on this site is general information. It is not medical, nutrition, legal, or benefits advice, and it does not create any professional relationship between you and us. Your circumstances may change what applies to you. If a decision matters, confirm it with your WIC clinic, your state agency, or a qualified professional.
Accuracy and availability of information
We work from each state agency's published clinic list and approved-foods document, and we date our checks. Even so, clinic hours, phone numbers, locations, and program rules change, and our copy can lag behind. Always call the clinic before you travel or bring documents.
We do not promise that the site will always be available or free of errors.
Using the site
You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please do not:
- use automated tools to copy the site or place a heavy load on our servers;
- try to break, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its data;
- copy our pages or compiled listings to republish elsewhere without permission;
- use the site in any way that is unlawful or that misleads others into believing they are dealing with the WIC program or a government agency.
Third-party links
We link to state agency sites, usda.gov, Google Maps, and other sites for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Ownership
The text, design, and layout of this site belong to WIC Compass. Clinic names, addresses, phone numbers, and other facts taken from state agency lists remain public information, and we make no claim over them.
No warranty and limit on liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, WIC Compass and the people behind it are not liable for any loss or damage that results from using the site or relying on its information, including a wasted trip, a missed appointment, or a delayed benefit.
